1）2013年4月15-16日，杜勇教授应邀参加总装先进材料技术专业组2013年第一次工作会议暨“材料基因组工程”顶层设计研究启动会，并做题为“硬质合金、耐磨涂层及铝合金的基因：理论及实践”的报告。
2）2013年4月22-26日，刘树红副教授、汤颖博士生和张聪博士生参加由中科院上海硅酸盐研究所主办的第四届“X射线晶体学上海讲习班”。
3）2013年4月23-24日，杜勇教授参加在广西桂林电子科技大学召开的中国物理学会相图专业委员会会议，并作2012年度中国相图专业委员会上交给国际相图委员会的报告。
4）2013年4月26日，杜勇教授参加硬质合金国家重点实验室第三次学术委员会会议，并作“硬质合金及耐磨涂层的基因：理论与实践”的学术报告。
5）2013年4月28日-5月3日，杜勇教授和许雨翔硕士生参加在美国圣地亚哥举行的国际冶金涂层及薄膜第四届年度会议，并分别做题为“Influence of Zr on Structure and Properties of Ti-Al-N Coatings”的口头报告和“First-principles Calculations on the Thermodynamic and Mechanical Properties of Ti-Al-(Zr, Hf)-N Wear-resistant Coating Systems”的墙报。
6）2013年5月17-19日，杜勇教授和王建川讲师参加了在河北石家庄举行的中国化学会第四届全国热分析动力学与热力学学术会议。杜勇教授做了题为“多元铝合金凝固和时效强化过程中微结构的三维表征”的大会报告。
7）2013年5月24-25日，杜勇教授赴西班牙San Sebastian参加APDIC（国际相图委员会）会议。
8）2013年5月26-31日，杜勇教授、张利军教授、汪炯讲师、王建川讲师及研究室研究生程开明、王雅茹、周华、塔娜前往西班牙San Sebastian参加CALPHAD XLII国际会议。杜勇教授、张利军教授和塔娜的口头报告题目为别是：“Micrstructural characterization of Al alloys during solidification and aging: Computer simulation and its experimental verification”、“Coupling of the phase-field model with finite interface dissipation and the sublattice model in CALAPHAD formalism”和“Three-dimensional phase-field simulation of precipitation and dissolution process of γ′phase in γ matrix of Ni-Al alloys”。汪炯讲师和王建川讲师的墙报题目分别是：“A Thermodynamic Database for Metastable Phases in Multi-component Al Alloys”和“Ca-decorated boron sheet: A potential hydrogen storage medium”。程开明、王雅茹和周华等博士生的墙报题目分别是“Experimental Investigation and Numerical Simulation of Liquid Migration in Liquid Phase Sintered Cellular Cemented Carbide”，“A thermodynamic description of the Al-C-Ni-W quaternary system”和“Experimental investigation and thermodynamic calculation of the phase equilibria in the Mg-Sr-X (X = Zr, Y, Mn) systems ”。
9）2013年6月2日，孔毅副教授授赴西北工业大学参加973项目年度会议。6月3-5日，孔毅副教授参加第三届凝固研讨会-凝固过程初晶相的形貌演变及微观结构，并作题为“Simulation of microstructrual evolution of Al alloys during solidification: focus on diffusion coefficient of liquid phase”的口头报告。
10）2013年6月3-4日，张利军教授参加了在西班牙马德里举行的2013年材料设计过程：热力学、动力学和微结构控制国际研讨会，并作题为 “Phase-field model for stoichiometric phase with finite interface dissipation”的口头报告。
11）2013年6月3-7日，陈利副教授和彭英彪博士生参加了在奥地利罗伊特举行的第十八届普兰西-难熔金属和硬质材料国际会议。陈利副教授做了题为“Influence of V on structure, mechanical and thermal properties of Ti-Al-N”的口头报告。彭英彪博士生海报的题目是“CSUTDCC and CSUDDCC – The development and applications of new thermodynamic and diffusivity databases for cemented carbides”。
12）2013年6月16-22日，杜勇教授、张利军教授和刘树红副教授参加了在德国波鸿举行的第四届中-德计算热力学、动力学及其在材料过程中的应用研讨会，并分别做题为“Microstructural evaluation of gradient cemented carbides during sintering: simulation and its experimental verification”、“Revisiting the phenomenological model for effect of chemical ordering on diffusion and its application”和“Thermodynamic modeling of the Al-Mn-Ni system”的口头报告。其中杜勇教授和张利军教授担任分会场主席。
13）2013年7月7-11日，杜勇教授参加在美国盐湖城举行的第二届世界集成计算材料工程大会，并作题为“Development of gradient cemented carbides through ICME strategy”大会口头报告。
14）2013年8月11-14日，王建川讲师和辛婧华博士生参加了在广州举办的第十二届国际凝聚态理论与计算材料学会议。王建川讲师做了题为“Ca-decorated boron sheet: a potential hydrogen storage medium”的口头报告。辛婧华博士生海报的题目是“第一原理计算Al-Cu-Mg体系中FCC相的扩散系数”。
15）2013年9月22-26日，杜勇教授参加了在西安举办的第八届高温陶瓷基复合材料国际会议，做了题为” Design of new gradient cemented carbides and hard coatings through ceramic genome”的大会特邀报告，并担任大会分会场主席。
16）2013年9月25-26日，杜勇教授参加了在长沙举办的2013年材料与产品制造技术国际学术会议，并做了题为“Comparison of microstructure and mechanical properties of Co-based and Fe-based alloy coatings deposited by PTA” 的口头汇报。

18）2013年10月10-11日，汪炯讲师参加了在西北工业大学举办中国教育科研网格（ChinaGrid）二期建设项目材料科学与工程重点学科网格平台及应用建设的预验收会议，并做了题为“高性能材料多尺度设计及其应用研究”的报告。
19）2013年10月13-16日，陈利副教授和许雨翔博士参加了在浙江宁波举办的“TFC”13全国薄膜技术学术研讨会。陈利副教授做了题为“CrAlVN 和 CrAlZrN 涂层的力学及热性能研究” 的口头报告。许雨翔博士做了题为“Hf 添加对 Ti-Al-N 涂层力学和热性能的影响”的口头报告。
20）2013年10月13-17日，杜勇教授和张利军教授参加了北京举办的第一届亚洲铝合金会议，并分别做了题为“Quantitative microstructural characterization of a 6111 Al-Mg-Si-Cu Alloy during solidification and aging”和“Effect of liquid diffusion coefficients on the microstructure evolution during solidification of Al356.1 alloy”的口头报告。
21）2013年10月16-19日，汪炯讲师参加了由教育部科研发展中心在广州华南理工大学举办的“异构计算与OpenCL编程培训”。
22）2013年10月19-25日，李凯博士生参加了在重庆举办的中国电子显微镜学会会议，并做了题为” Al-Mg-Si-Cu合金中β" 相纳米粒子的HAADF-STEM观察”的报告。
23）2013年10月24日，孔毅副教授参加了在新加坡举办的23届材料计算力学国际研讨会，并作题为“Strengthening mechanism of AI/Pd multilayer thin films with negative enthalpy of mixing studied by deposition and nano-indentation simulations”的大会口头报告。
24）2013年10月25日，王建川讲师在湖南娄底组织中南大学-湖南人文科技学院锂离子电池材料双边研讨会，并作题为“第一原理计算在锂离子电池材料设计中的应用”大会口头报告。
25）2013年11月3-6日，杜勇教授、王少卿博士生、陈冲博士生、张伟彬博士生、陈伟民博士生、许慧霞硕士生参加了在厦门举办的全国粉末冶金学术会议及海峡两岸粉末冶金技术研讨会。杜勇教授、张伟彬和许慧霞的口头报告题目为别是“Thermodynamic and Diffusivity Databases of Gradient Cemented Carbides: Their Applications to the Design of New Alloys”、“氮气压对WC–Ti(C,N)–Co硬质合金梯度层厚度的影响”、“ Co-(Ti, W)-(Nb, Ta)合金面心立方相互扩散系数和原子移动性参数的确定” 。王少卿、张伟彬、陈冲和陈伟民博士的墙报题目分别是“Computational Investigations of the CVD (Ti,Al)N and TiCN Coating”、 “Effect of nitrogen pressure on the thickness of gradient zones in WC–Ti(C,N)–Co cemented carbides”、“Thermodynamic and Diffusion Kinetic Databases for the WC-Ni3Al Composites”和“Experimental Investigations and Computer Simulations on Formation of Diffusion-controlled Fcc-free Surface Layers on Cemented Carbides”。
26）2013年12月12-13日，王建川讲师参加了在上海举办的高性能陶瓷和超微结构国家重点实验室开放课题学术交流年会, 并作题为“Pr掺杂和(Zn,Pr)共掺杂CaTiO3的缺陷性质的第一原理研究” 大会口头报告。
国内外互访
1）应刘林教授邀请，杜勇教授和张利军教授于2013年1月17日访问西北工业大学材料学院，并分别做题为“梯度硬质合金及耐磨涂层的计算模拟和实验验证”和“From thermodynamics to microstructures: foucusing on Al- and Ni-based alloys”学术报告。并就镍基高温合金方向的合作与刘林教授达成了协议。
2）应王江涌教授邀请，杜勇教授于2013年3月25-26日访问汕头大学，做了题为“相图、相变及材料设计”的学术报告，并就涂层合作研究达成了协议。
3）应杜勇教授邀请，南京大学固体微结构国家实验室周勇教授于2013年4月2日访问本实验室，并做题为“纳米结构材料在可再生能源的应用”的学术报告。
4）应杜勇教授邀请，瑞典皇家工学院Bosse Sundman教授于2013年3月30日至4月25日访问本实验室。访问期间，Sundman教授作了3个有关Open Calphad软件的报告，并对课题组相关博士和硕士生进行热力学计算方面的指导和讨论。
6）应杜勇教授邀请，牛津大学易晓鸥博士于2013年7月30日访问本实验室，并作了题为” 核聚变材料“的学术报告。
7）应杜勇教授邀请，瑞典皇家工学院Bosse Sundman教授于2013年9月15日至10月20日访问本实验室。访问期间，Sundman教授作了题为“Modelling order/disorder transformations using CEF”的讲座，并对实验室相关博士和硕士生进行热力学计算方面的指导和讨论。
8）应杜勇教授邀请，德国鲁尔-波鸿大学的Ingo Steinbach教授、Oleg Shchyglo博士、Irina Roslyakova博士生和Matthias Stratmann硕士于201310月6日至9日参加在长沙举行的中德“Al合金微观结构” 联合实验室双边研讨会并做大会报告。随后，Ingo Steinbach教授在本实验室工作一周。Oleg Shchyglo博士和Irina Roslyakova博士生在本实验室工作两周，并对课题组相关博士和硕士生进行了相场方面的指导和讨论。Matthias Stratmann硕士则在本实验室工作一个月。
9）应杜勇教授邀请，德国斯图加特MSI（国际材料科学相图研究中心）的G. Effenberg博士于2013年10月13来访，并做题为“Materials Constitution - for Understanding Inorganic Materials. Access to the World's Knowledge”的报告。
10）应杜勇教授邀请，德国克劳斯塔尔工业大学王培生博士于2013年10月18日访问本实验室，并与课题组相关博士生和硕士生进行了镁合金方面的指导和讨论。
11）应杜勇教授邀请，德国亚琛工业大学常可可博士于2013年10月24-25日访问本实验室，并做题为“Phase equilibria, thermodynamic and electrochemical properties of cathodes in lithium ion batteries based on the Li-(Co,Ni)-O system”的报告。
12）应杜勇教授邀请，德国克劳斯塔尔工业大学梁松茂博士于2013年12月10-11日访问本实验室，并做题为“Thermodynamic assessment of the Al-P, Si-P and Al-Si-P systems applied to phosphorus in Al-Si cast alloys”的报告。
